Day 1
As arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, our dedicated driver will be eagerly anticipating your arrival at the airport holding a sign with your name on it, ready to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome. From there, a seamless and comfortable transfer service will whisk you away to our enchanting Springlands hotel.
Upon arrival at the hotel, you will be served a delicious meal. Later on, our experienced safari coordinators will give you a pre-safari briefing, an exciting opportunity to learn about the wonders that await you on your upcoming expedition.
Enjoy the relaxing environment of Springland hotel with a swimming pool, a beautiful garden with a bar and a restaurant.
Day 2
This morning After breakfast we will collect you from Springlands hotel and drive along a scenic route to the Tarangire National Parks, The beauty of the park will offers you an awesome game viewing you have never seen and during the dry season, it draws hundreds of animals to the park, making for a wildlife and bird viewing spectacular. The landscape is varied, with grassy savannah plains, swamps, hills and spectacular baobabs. Also during the dry season Elephants abound, Families of the ancient trunks of Baobao trees and strip acacia bark from the thorn trees, Breathtaking view of the Masai steppe and mountain in the south makes a stopover at Tarangire National Park a memorable experience, you can see herds and group of animals like Elephant, followed by Zebras, Buffalo and oryxes who venture from Masai to the Tarangire National Park in search of water, There are also few Lions prowling around looking for unexpecting preys around the jungle, There are more breeding species of birds found in Tarangire national park than anywhere else on the planet, Also Tarangire National Park is straversed by the Tarangire River which never dries up being the only source of water during the dry season, . late afternoon drive back for Overnight Highview Coffee Lodge (with lunch, dinner & breakfast)or similar
Day 3
The drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge takes 3 to 4 hours. Olduvai Gorge is an archaeological site located in the eastern Serengeti plains, in which early human fossils were first discovered. It has an amazing landscape that resulted from the same tectonic forces that created the Great Rift Valley millions of years ago Your journey to Olduvai Gorge promises to be an extraordinary voyage through time, offering a captivating glimpse into the roots of human history. This archaeological treasure trove has yielded remarkable discoveries, including ancient fossils and stone tools that provide invaluable insights into our early ancestors and the evolution of human civilization. As you explore the rugged terrain of Olduvai Gorge, guided by expert archaeologists, you’ll be immersed in the rich narratives of our prehistoric past. Unravel the mysteries of early human life and culture, and stand in awe of the profound significance this site holds for our understanding of humanity’s origins. The experience at Olduvai Gorge is an enlightening and humbling adventure, connecting you with the deep heritage that unites us all. In the late evening, return to the Ikoma Wild Camp and Cottages for rest, dinner, and overnight.
Day 4
After a heavy breakfast in the morning, Our Safari guide will pick you up from the hotel, off to a full day Serengeti game drive tour. You will have packed lunch boxes in the afternoon or you can opt to drive back to the campsite after the game drive early noon in time for hot lunch brunch. After the brunch you can opt for relaxation, rest or swimming. The driver will then come and pick you up for an evening game drive. In today’s game drive, prepare to be awe-struck by one of the most spectacular wildlife experiences on Earth. As you venture into this vast and iconic park in, you will witness the legendary Great Migration, an awe-inspiring spectacle where millions of wildebeests, zebras, and other herbivores journey across the plains in search of fresh grazing lands. The Serengeti’s diverse landscapes, from open savannahs to dense woodlands, provide a haven for the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros), along with cheetahs, giraffes, hyenas, and a plethora of bird species. Your safari will unveil captivating scenes of predator-prey interactions, heartwarming family dynamics, and the harmonious coexistence of wildlife in their natural habitat. Prepare for an unforgettable adventure, immersing yourself in the timeless beauty and wildlife wonders of Serengeti. In the evening, you will be driven back to Serengeti Wild Camp or Similar for dinner and an overnight.
Day 5
After breakfast you will Enjoy a morning game drive en-route to Ngorongoro Crater for a once in a lifetime safari tour. The jewel in Ngorongoro’s crown, this thick volcanic crater is the most significant unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. Upon descending to the crater floor, you will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner of the crater, which is one of the crater’s leading features.The crater is 20 km in diameter, 600 m high and is the largest intact crater in the world. An estimated 30,000 large mammals live in the crater, which features a salt lake at its center. This is one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in the world! And also is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhino as well as prides of lion that include the magnificent black-manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingoes and a variety of water birds. Other game that you can see includes leopard, cheetah, hyena, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals. The Masai and Hadzabe people live together in harmony with the animals that also call this place home. From the edge you will look out over the impressive crater and all of its wonderful inhabitants. In the afternoon we will drive back to your lodge for your overnight stay.
Day 6
The MtowaMbu cultural tour offers a unique and authentic experience as you explore the vibrant village located at the entryway to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. During your visit, you will encounter a remarkable mix of cultures and witness the daily life of the local tribes. Expect to stroll through the bustling MtowaMbu market, a melting pot of various ethnicities, where you can browse an array of handcrafted Maasai beadwork, colorful fabrics, and local artwork.
As you venture further into the village, you will have the opportunity to interact with the welcoming locals from different tribes like the Chagga, Iraq, and Sukuma. Engage in traditional activities cultural village walk, rice and banana farm, local craftsman, banana beer brewing, and learn about their unique farming techniques, which have been passed down through generations. If you will, you can try the local meals/food and have a local lunch at a place that is trusted by the guide and fell the delicacy of the locals’ meals.
One of the highlights of the tour is meeting the Maasai people, renowned for their distinctive attire and age-old customs. You’ll witness their captivating traditional dances and perhaps get a chance to visit a traditional Maasaiboma (homestead) to understand their nomadic way of life and ancient herding practices.
Throughout the tour, your knowledgeable guide will provide fascinating insights into the cultural significance of various practices and rituals. You can also do cycling if you have bicycles with you. Then later in the day transfer back to Springlands Hotel in Moshi for overnight.
Day 7
Enjoy a morning at leisure before your transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for your flight back home. If your flight departs during the morning an night accommodation must be add in Arusha – speak to us to arrange this.
